This can be the ladybird collectors paradise. A large number of people selling the contents of their, or even better parents and grandparents, attics. Whilst people are beginning to realise that some ladybirds are collected few know their true values.

That said with such a large amount of stock to sort through this can be very time consuming. Although most is very cheap, it may not always be high quality. A lot of the time parents may be clearing out children's toys and books. This can yield a lot of books from the mid-80s, notably the Transformer series which at the time must have been extremely popular. Unfortunately, probably largely due to their commoness this series is incredibly easy to find and is not very highly thought of by most collectors.
