Storage can be a real problem. Once you start building up a large collecting of books you soon start to discover that shelves only take so many books.

Obviously people's available space will govern where they can go BUT in all cases the goals are the same:

• Keep them dry and away from damp.
• Keep them out of direct sunlight.
• If possible keep dust off them as much as possible.
• Try to keep them away from extremes of heat.
• Keep a periodic check to make sure that nothing is going wrong.
