| Introduction A large, in some cases a bit of a catch-all, series. These non-fiction books cover a variety of diverse hobbies and crafts. With a variety of authors, artists and subjects it can safely be said that there is very little continuity with the books. Oddly this series actually seems to contain two different sets of books; the first set was absorbed into the new Learnabouts (series 634) in around 1976. A second set then appeared under the same series number but this time being new "How to Make..." titles. Only the very first title "Things to Make" came in a dustjacket. The other titles were all produced in matt editions until their withdrawl around 1976, when they were, in some cases revamped, and became part of the Learnabout series (634). |
