| Introduction A slight oddity here : this series actually consists of only one book. Although written in a rhyming style the verses are much longer than the couplets used in series 401. Possibly it was either for this reason, or that they intended other similar titles, that it was given its own separate series. The book itself originally came as a dust jacket over a pictorial matt cover. Seemingly it was only available for a comparitively short time since it was apparently withdrawn in 1957. Unlikely to have been one of the best sellers this has served to make this title one of the most highly demanded of all ladybirds and copies rarely appear for sale. |
