This series was Wills & Hepworth first move into the religious books market. The series started in 1952, with all the original ten books written by Lucy Diamond and illustrations by Kenneth Inns. Perfect for prizes for Sunday Schools etc they are often found with their attendant prize plates. Perhaps because of this, that they ended up on the bookshelf and not often read, they can often be found in very good or excellent condition.

Originally they would have all come with dustjackets of a buff cover. Up until around 1955 they may have also come with a stated edition (though I only have the evidence of one book coming with a stated edition in 1955 and a 1956 assummed first without).
