Badger to the Rescue Story and illustrations by A.J.MacGregor, verses by W.Perring. First published in 1949 according to older books copyright notice. One day the circus comes to town. Trouble is that the three little dormice haven't got any money. So they decide to try to earn some money by colelcting the woodland folks washing from Mrs.Bunny. Using some borrowed wheelbarrows they collect the washing. But, despite being warned, they hit some bumps going over the bridge and the washing falls into the water. Fortunately, Mr.Badger comes along to the rescue. He saves the washing and ends up taking the little dormice to the circus himself. |
