1940's Although it is known that quite a few titles were produced for children in the early period of Wills & Hepworth, any records have been lost. For that reason the only titles that we know were published in the "Ladybird Series"are those discovered by private collectors. I will not attempt to detail any more information here as this site is dedicated to the standard ladybirds produced after 1940. More information is supplied in the "Index of UK First Editions" as compiled by Steve Rudge. |
